New Format And Team For 11th Season Of CSGO Pro League: ESL Announce

CSGO or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is an online tactical first-person shooter gaming platform. All interested players are required to pick and buy any legendary CSGO accounts to begin gaming.

ESL CGSO Pro League is back with a bang! Announcing the 24 teams invited to the 11th Pro League Season, it has also revealed the newest format for the gameplay. Executing some significant changes in 2020, ESL hopes to take the competition to an all-new truly global all-LAN format.

While some significant teams remained uninvited to the ESL CSGO Pro League, there are some noteworthy competing ones from across the world. ESL has excluded both Cloud9 and MIBR from the competition. They will be competing in the B Site League.

The two teams replacing Cloud9 and MIBR are OG and GODSENT. OG is a dominant Dota 2 organization which has gained popularity and expanded into CSGO in 2019. GODSENT, on the other hand, is a Swedish brand that is led by the legend Markus ‘pronax’ Wallsten.

If the invited teams accept the LANXESS agreement, it leaves a slim potential for the B Site organizers to fuel up their competition. About 21 of the top-ranked teams are invited to the ESL Pro League.

The teams which have been invited to the ESL CSGO Pro League are:

  • Evil Geniuses
  • Astralis
  • Team Liquid
  • G2 Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • FaZe Clan
  • CompLexity
  • Mousesports
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • ENCE
  • 100 Thieves
  • Team Vitality
  • OG
  • North
  • Heroic
  • TyLoo
  • Sharks
  • Renegades
  • forZe
  • INTZ

The format of the gameplay has wholly been overturned. There will no longer be any regional leagues, and the teams will go head-to-head on each other, giving the viewers the purest form of Esports.

The ESL Pro League Season 11 will be a four-week long competition which will include a full offline regular season in the studio followed by a three-day final event at an arena location.

Season 11 of the ESL Pro League is going to be an ultimate battleground. The 24 teams will be split into four groups and will be participating in a round-robin format in best-of-three matches. The group winners will directly win a slot in the semi-finals and Round 3, respectively.

The second and third-placed teams will then battle a single-elimination match, finally meeting the group winners in the end. Lastly, the events in Round 3 of the competition will be held in an arena location where the best team will be crowned from the best of five grand finales. With thrilling studio matches among the most qualified groups in the world will be a thing to watch.

For the forthcoming seasons, ESL has planned it really smart. All the Season 10 teams are invited to the Mountain Dew League. These teams will win direct slots in the ESL Pro League Season 12. Furthermore, these teams will also be eligible for ESL World Ranking. The ESL World Ranking is of major importance as it helps in determining the teams to be invited in the next seasons.

The ESL official page confirms that the competition shall start on March 16, 2020. No other ESL Pro Tour events will be scheduled during the on-going ESL Pro League season.

If you are also a keen gamer, you can check out the CSGO accounts or CSGO prime accounts to start gaming. The CSGO prime accounts require players to have a minimum private rank of 21.
